I will show you practically how you perform each step.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Step 1: Search for business<\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Initially, search for your business, product, or service you\u2019re ranking for. Until then, keep checking the status on the Reviews Management Tool.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Note:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Legal responsibility usually lies with the person who posted the review, not Google. In India, platforms like Google get limited protection under Section 79 of the IT Act if they follow the rules, so they <\/span><b>generally remove reviews only after a policy check or when given a valid legal notice or court order<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. If a review contains a false factual claim that harms your reputation, the reviewer can be pursued under IPC Sections 499\/500 or in a civil suit, and you may ask a court to order removal after preserving evidence.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">What Happens After You Report (Realistic Timelines &amp; Outcomes<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">After submitting a report against a fake review on Google Business Profile, Google decides when to address the issue.
